Kiln Dried Hornbeam

Kiln Dried Hornbeam is a premium wood as it is extremely dense meaning it provides a clean burn and high heat output for long periods; it burns hotter and for longer than nearly all other woods. It produces very little smoke and ash so it reduced soot build up so there is less stove maintenance for you! It is ideal for overnight burning and is suitable for log burners, fireplaces and fire pits. Hornbeam is similar to Oak & Ash but, it is known to burn for longer and gives off more heat. Due to it’s density, like our Oak, it can be a bit harder to light at first so ensure you’re adding it to a lit fire, once lit it will burn for long periods.
